Is there a dress code?

No. You can wear what you like.

Where can I park?

There’s parking on-site with entry via High St or Fulton St. There is also street parking available on High St.

What should I expect when I arrive?

We know it can be hard visiting somewhere new. So, when you arrive, you’ll receive a warm welcome from people who will help you get your bearings, give you everything you need to navigate our time together, and answer any questions you have.

What happens during the service?

Most of our services last for just over an hour.

During each service, we sing a few songs, we are led in prayer, we say things we believe together and hear part of the Bible read and explained.

We also regularly share in the Lord's Supper or Communion together.

Will I have to join in?

No. You can feel free to sit back, watch, listen, and join in when you feel comfortable.

What happens after the service?

After the 8:30am and 10am services, refreshments are served onsite in the piazza. These are a valuable part of our time together, giving us further opportunity to meet, get to know and encourage one another.

What happens to kids?

We love it when kids come to church. Kids are welcome at any of our services, but many families like to come along to the 10am service so their kids can come to our excellent Kids Time program.

Kids Time is for kids aged 18 months through to Year 5. Kids Time happens every Sunday of school term. At Kids Time, our teams of trained volunteers run Bible lessons which kids love. When you arrive, just ask the people at the door where you can register your kids for their program.

If you’d prefer for your kids to stay with you instead of going to Kids Time, that’s ok.

If your kids are a bit noisy during the service, that’s ok too.

If you’ve got a baby or a toddler, you’re welcome to have them stay with you during the service. The hall has a crying room with a change table and toys.

Newish

Once you've come for a visit, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get to know us, get to know what we're on about and ask any questions you might have so you can partner with us. Hope Explored and Christianity Explored Courses

We believe that knowing Jesus Christ, and what God's done for us in him, is essential for anyone to live life to the full. That's why we love seeing people get to know him better through our Hope Explored and Christianity Explored courses. It's perfect for anyone who wants to know Jesus better than they do now. Who are they for?

Our Hope Explored and Christianity Explored courses are genuinely for anyone! You don't have to have come to church before. You don't need to have read the Bible before. There is no prior knowledge, belief or religious background required to join.

When do they happen?

These courses are run regularly, with at least one of them starting each school term. They are usually held on a Sunday afternoon, but we also hold courses at other times based on the availability on those who are interested in joining. Hope Explored is three weekly sessions which go for one hour each. Christianity Explored is seven weekly sessions, which go for one hour and fifteen minutes each.

What happens at these courses?

In each course we explore who Jesus is, what he's done and what difference he makes to life. There's a chance to read about him in one of the accounts of his life from the Bible, there's a short video to watch, and there's time to chat about what we've heard. Some course participants ask lots of questions and engage in discussion, others just choose to listen in. Whatever level of engagement you're comfortable with is fine.

FEAST Kids Club

FEAST is a place where kids in Year 3-6 love to come to hear about Jesus.

FEAST happens from 6:00-7:30pm every Thursday night during school term.

FEAST happens from 6:00 - 7:30pm every Thursday night during school term. The FEAST team work hard to make FEAST a safe and respectful place where kids have as much fun as possible, meet others and hang out with friends.

While each week has it's own unique FEAST flavour, a typical FEAST night will involve playing games, doing craft, eating dinner, hearing a short talk from the Bible and discussing the talk in a small group.

Coming along to FEAST costs $3 per week, including dinner.

Like all of our Kids and Youth ministry leaders, our FEAST team are Working With Children Check approved and have current Safe Ministry training.

Youth Group

Youth Group is a place where high schoolers love to come to hear about Jesus.

Currently, our Youth Group combines with Cambridge Park Anglican Church and it is held at Penrith from 7:30-9pm every Friday night during school term.
